Erling Haaland has made an emphatic start to his Premier League career, breaking the scoring record for the competition in Manchester City's 3-0 win over West Ham.

The Norwegian striker netted his first goal for the club on 70 minutes, before adding another in the 85th minute to secure the victory and move City top of the table.

Ilkay Gundogan had opened the scoring for City in the 36th minute, and Fernandinho added a third in the 90th minute to seal the victory. The result sees City move top of the table, one point ahead of Arsenal.
